Recently Coinbase Pro has added support for Avalanche’s AVAX token in its exchange. Currently, the AVAX token is available in Cancel-only mode on the Coinbase Pro exchange.
Avalanche (AVAX) is a proof-of-stake blockchain developed by Ava Labs. Recently AVAX token has raised $230 million in a token sale led by Polychain and Three Arrows Capital.
Now Coinbase Pro will soon allow its users to trade AVAX tokens using AVAX/USD, AVAX/ETH, and AVAX/USDT pairs.
Currently, Coinbase Pro users can transfer their AVAX tokens to Coinbase Pro account in Cancel Only mode from other exchanges. According to a blog published on Coinbase Pro, the AVAX token trading will start on or after 09:00 am according to Pacific time on 30th Sep. 2021.
Coinbase also mentioned that the C-chain Avalanche addresses start with ‘0x’. Users should only send their tokens on C-chain, tokens sent on P-Chain or X-chain or any other chain will result in a proper loss.
Binance, WazirX, and BitPanda have already listed this token on their platform. And this listing on Coinbase Pro will increase the usability of the AVAX token to broader users in the United States.
