There is good news for all cryptocurrency supporters in India. The USA’s largest crypto exchange Coinbase is planning to hire its employees in India. Coinbase which was founded in 2012, is a platform for users to buy and sell cryptocurrencies including, Bitcoin, Ripple, Litecoin, Ethereum, etc.
On 2 July 2021, Co-founder and CEO of Coinbase Brian Armstrong announced that Coinbase is building its office in India to expand its operations. He also invited talented Indians to come to join the company to grow the scope of cryptocurrency in the world.
The company is planning to hire employees for its IT operations including Engineering services, software development, and customer support team in India.
In the post of Coinbase’s official blog, the company said, “India has long been known as a hub for engineering and technology innovation, and they are looking forward to finding that world-class talent to help the Coinbase group develop new ways for their customers to interact with the crypto-economy”.
The company said they will start hiring for remote operations in India and Canada for remote work. It means the employees of Coinbase could work from any location across India. They will also open a physical office initially in Hyderabad for Indian employees by following the guidelines of COVID 19.
